An Update

Hello there.. I bet you thought I had forgotten you didn’t you?

Well I haven’t. I am bitterly disappointed that I have been unable to keep up with my desired posting regime. I dreadfully miss taking pictures and the processing of pictures.

There is a very good reason behind my absence. I have for the past month. I have tried to take plenty of pictures in different situations in various environments, but one thing has become very evident in these pictures. I do not have a steady hand at the moment. I am not sure why this has started now.

Pretty much every picture I have taken over the past 3 weeks has come out like I have been on a trampoline. I am not noticing a noticeable shake in my hands or arms but looking at the pictorial evidence it’s there.

Until I can get this under control, I am not comfortable in posting anything that is below my own personal standards. I may not be a very competent photographer at the best of times, but I think I am (or was) getting better with each photography session.

Until this is sorted, please be patient with me.

As you may have noticed, things have been pretty quiet around here the past week to ten days. I came down with what I class as possibly the worst cold/flu thing that I have had in a very long time. It completely knocked me for six and took me out of life in general.

This image was shot a while back and I just started playing with it in Snapseed. It was originally taken with Camera+ and I used the Clarify setting to clean up the image before taking it over to Snapseed.

That’s about it for this post. I doubt there will be regular updates for the next few days, I still need to catch up with everything that I usually do online. Hopefully by the start of next week I should be back in the saddle.

Thanks for being patient.

A Useful Mistake

A while ago I was in town and somehow I took a picture of the ground. When I got home and saw this weird shot I just cast it away in my picture dump folder and thought no more of it.

I know the shot was taken with Hipstamatic using the Roboto Glitter Lens and the Claunch 72 Monochrome film… other than that I am at a loss if anything else has been done to the image. I have tested that same set-up and it hasn’t replicated the effect exactly but there is some motion trails.
